Escort RE
The Escort RE is a rear engine, mid-range coach offering an excellent blend of durability, operating economy, and attractive, contemporary styling. The Escort RE is ideal for on-airport shuttle applications. The short 139" wheelbase on the Escort RE is purpose built for tight parking lots, offering a tighter turning radius than many 25 foot buses! The Escort RE's rear engine design provides a super-quiet environment for driver and passengers alike. Maintenance personnel will appreciate its wide-open engine compartment, which is designed for easy service access. To attain our exacting quality and design requirements, the Escort RE chassis and body are built by ElDorado National in our ISO 9001:2000 certified California manufacturing facility. The Escort RE features a GVWR of 22,500 lbs., and offers the availability of hydraulic or air brakes, allowing it to be driven with a basic Class C - Commercial Driver's License.
