		Not every wheelchair user wants or needs a van. That’s why we created the Chair Topper. This roof-mounted system mechanically folds, loads and stores a standard wheelchair in a weather-tight fiberglass compartment that can be attached to almost any hardtop vehicle. This also means the Chair Topper is easily transferred when you’re ready to purchase a new automobile. Additionally, rooftop storage offers the benefit of a clean and dry car interior, and plenty of passenger and storage room. Unlike ramps and lifts, the Chair Topper allows you to operate the unit in any space that allows a wheelchair user to maneuver – which means most standard parking spaces! Best of all, there’s no need for a companion to help store the chair in the back seat or trunk.
		Simply transfer to your vehicle seat and activate the color-coded switch to extend the Chair Topper’s retractable lift arm. The switch is easy to use, even for those with limited dexterity. Then slide the lift arm under the wheelchair seat. Once activated, the Chair Topper does all the work for you
				The weather-tight compartment can be mounted to almost any hardtop vehicle, and can be configured for driver or passenger side operation
			The Chair Topper’s retractable lift works within close proximity to your car, making it useable anywhere you can move your chair.
